A viral video of a girl who accidentally shoots a guy in the head has taken the internet by storm. The police are calling a murder-suicide that was live-streamed at a St. Louis birthday party.
A pair of young cousins, Paris Harvey and Kuaron Harvey, are both dead following what police are calling a murder-suicide. The young cousins were live on Instagram when a gun that the younger child was playing accidentally went off.
They were live streaming on Instagram around 2 a.m. Friday when Paris, 12, accidentally shot her cousin, Kuaron, 14, in the head before shooting herself as a murder-suicide.
However, the children’s family described the horrific incident that took place at a house that the family rented to celebrate birthdays as a freak accident.

A twelve-year-old Paris Harvey and fourteen-year-old Kuaron Harvey were streaming live on Instagram around 2 a.m. when a gun Paris was playing with accidentally went off and killed her cousin, pushing her to then shoot herself.
The children’s family had taken the house on rent to celebrate birthdays and were devastated by the horrific shooting that ultimately killed their children.
Both Paris and Kuaron were pronounced dead at the scene. Initially, the cops described the horrifying incident as a murder-suicide, but their family shut down reports of a murder-suicide and stated it was a ‘freak accident.’
Kuaron’s mother and Paris’s father are siblings. Paris’s mother, Shinise Harvey, said that it was not murder nor it was a suicide rather, it was a freak accident that happened.
The distraught mother further explained that relatives who witnessed the deadly incident said that the children were trying to be too hip when the gun accidentally went off, killing Kuaron.

Kuaron Harvey and Paris Harvey were cousins who lost their lives when a gun that the younger cousin was playing with accidentally went off and killed her cousin, prompting her to then shoot herself.
The children were live on Instagram from a St. Louis apartment around 2 a.m. Friday when the younger child fatally shot the other child before killing herself in what family members say was a tragic accident.
According to the family members, both the children were raised close together. They were both alone in a bathroom making a video in the mirror before the tragic incident.
Moreover, the family stated that after Kuraon was shot, the video further showed Paris reaching for the gun and that it might have accidentally gone off again.
The family believed that the gun belonged to Kuaron. Paris and Kuaron both were shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene by the cops.
Meet Paris Harvey Grandmother
Susan Dyson, Paris Harvey’s grandmother, also spoke about the tragic incident. The grandmother told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she witnessed the Instagram Live video.
She explained that the two cousins were making it together and having fun at a downtown St. Louis apartment that the family rented to celebrate March birthdays.
Dyson, from the Dallas area, further expressed that it wasn’t a situation where the cousins were arguing or anything like that. Pairs and Kuaron were playing with the gun, which they shouldn’t have been.
The young children shouldn’t have been playing with a gun. Dyson thinks that the gun just accidentally went off. Paris and Kuaron were often playing together, making videos, and pulling pranks.
Who could have thought such a tragic incident would ever happen that would kill them both.
Moreover, two GoFundMe fundraisers have been set up, one in Paris’s name, the other in Kuaron’s name to help the family.
