Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a “horrific” mass shooting in central Edmonton on Saturday, which killed one man and injured six others. 1hunnid is also said to have been involved in the shooting.

Police described the shooting as “gang violence,” but it was unrelated to the death of Abdullah Shah on Sunday.

Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, gunshots were heard outside the Ertale Lounge, which is located near 124 Street and 118 Avenue. Police discovered seven people with gunshot wounds at the scene, one of whom died later.
“Approximately 60 or 70 shots were fired at a crowd,” said Police Chief Dale McFee on Thursday.
“Obviously, the video is evidence, so I can’t show it, but it’s horrific,” he revealed at a police commission meeting.
Imbert George, 28, was identified by police on Thursday. An autopsy revealed that he had been shot multiple times.
According to an initial EPS report, four of the injured people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the other two were in critical condition.
Two of those people were still in the hospital on Thursday.
Mohamod Mohamod, 22, and Said Ibrahim, 23, were charged with first-degree murder and six counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, respectively.
Saed Osman, 27, was also arrested for first-degree murder and six counts of discharging a firearm with the intent to endanger life, according to EPS.
