“Flow 93.5” CFXJ-FM Hip Hop Toronto’s format and intellectual property rights are transferred to what is now CINA Radio Group’s Adult R&B “G98.7” CKFG with “Flow 98.7.”
Since February 9, CKFG began stunting with gold-based Hip Hop teasing a “Big Announcement Coming Soon” on-air.
And finally, CKFG launched an official Flow 98.7 on Monday, February 14. With the transition of the “Flow” brand to 98.7, the music format will be expanded to include more R&B, Soca, and Reggae to better serve Toronto’s Black listeners.
“For many years, Flow 93.5FM has been a powerful brand in the GTA,” said Gary Gunter, General Manager of the “All-New” Flow 98.7.
He assures that, along with G98.7FM’s historical legacy and its significance to the Black community it will further invest in the Black community’s tastes, issues, needs, and lifestyle.
