Timothy Simpkins, an 18-year-old suspect on the loose following the shooting, was arrested on Wednesday after four people were injured at a Texas high school shooting. Three of the victims were sent to the hospital, with one of them requiring surgery.
He will face three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
At 9:15 a.m. local time, Arlington police received a call reporting a shooting on the second floor of the Timberview High School. According to police, an argument broke out in a classroom before a teen started firing, and also that the shooting was not a “random attack” on the school.
